ミュンヘン在住 ジュエリー作家 David Bielander(デービッド・ビランダー)が2015年から制作をはじめたcardboard シリーズ。一見すると本物の段ボールとホッチキスと見間違えてしまいそうですが、実際に手に取ると、その重みや温度、音から忠実に再現された金属のジュエリーだとわかります。
今回、新作として"カタツムリ"をモチーフにしたプレイフルなブローチが登場しました。
ダンボールの質感や殻と胴体の接続に用いたホッチキスの芯の造形など、細部に至るまで技巧が凝らされた作品です。
