「Enfold」と名付けられたシリーズのひとつであるこちらのリングは、石のついたリングを丸ごと装飾するというコンセプトで作られた作品。

リング全体に白い七宝の釉薬が施され、ゴールドの有線七宝で描かれているのはアラベスク模様のようなパターン。直線的なフォルムと繊細で有機的な文様のコントラストがユニークな意外性を生み出しています。

時が静止したかのように白と装飾で包み込まれたリングはまるでアートピースのような存在感です。工芸の緻密な手仕事を、軽やかにモードに表現するMari Kobayashiらしいジュエリーは必見です。

STORY

  • Mari Kobayashi

    1996年埼玉県生まれ。2020年、東京藝術大学美術学部工芸科卒業。2022年、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科工芸専攻彫金分野修了。在学中より、平山郁夫賞（2018）、安宅賞（2019）を受賞、また、東京藝術大学卒業制作/大学美術館買い上げ賞（2020）、東京藝術大学修了制作/メトロ文化財団賞（2022）を受けるなど、その作品はすでに多方面で高く評価されている。
